Invoices and payments
Finish the job, send the invoice, see who still owes. Cash and checks are recordable today; card payments are not, and this page says which is which.
A finished job becomes an invoice with its line items already in place. Adjust anything, add a note, and it is out. Deposits work the same way for the jobs where you are ordering a system or pulling a permit before anybody touches a wrench.
How you get paid today

There is also a Point of sale screen for taking money at the counter. Its method list is cash, check, a card payment link, and card-present through a Stripe terminal. The last one is a labelled placeholder — choosing it tells you nothing was charged, because nothing was. Cash and check are the two that record a real payment today.
When card payments do launch, they run through Stripe at Stripe's own rates and Aestar does not add a percentage on top. We are putting that in writing now, before the feature exists, so it is harder for us to quietly change our minds later.
Who still owes you
Money lists every open balance and how long it has been open. You can also just ask — see Ask AI — and get the answer out of your own shop's numbers.
What Aestar costs you, separately
Your customers' prices and your Aestar bill are different things and Aestar never mixes them. The plan is $89 a month for the whole shop with 200 answered minutes included and $0.25 for each minute after that. Full detail on Pricing.
