Timesheets
Hours booked against the job they were worked on, so you can see what a job actually cost you. Hours only — this is not payroll.
Timesheets keeps crew time against jobs rather than in a general pool. Pick a person, pick a job, and either type the hours or use Clock in and Clock out. Totals roll up per person, per day and per week.
Because there is no separate team-member login yet (see Team members), clocking in and out happens from the shop's account rather than from each tech's own phone. Plan for someone recording it, not for it recording itself.
What it gives you
- Hours per person, per day and per week.
- Hours attached to a specific job, so a job's real labour cost is visible.
- A count of anyone still clocked in, which is usually the useful number at 6pm.
What it is not
Timesheets are hours, not payroll. Payroll / pay period / overtime Later — pay runs, overtime rules and anything that files a tax form — is on the Upcoming list, and the app labels its Payroll screen as a placeholder instead of pretending. No paycheques, no tax filings, no card. Take the hours and run payroll where you run it now.
Adding people is free — there is no per-seat charge — so there is no financial reason to record two people's hours under one name.
