Aestar documentation

Aestar answers your shop's phone and runs the office behind it. These pages explain every part of it, including the parts that are not finished.

Aestar answers your shop's phone and runs the office behind it. This is the manual: how each part works, what is honestly not built yet, what you can call from your own tools, and what changed this week.

How the whole thing fits together

Aestar is one loop, and every screen in the app is somewhere on it:

  1. Ava answersA call comes in. She tells the caller she is the shop's AI assistant, handles anything dangerous first, and then books, quotes or takes a message. Your phone line
  2. It becomes a jobThe booking lands on the board with the address, what the caller said, and the recording. Jobs and the board
  3. Someone is sentYou assign it, or confirm the assignment Ava suggests, and it lands on the board under that team member. They are not texted yet. The schedule
  4. It gets paid forThe finished job becomes an invoice with the line items already in it. Invoices and payments
  5. You follow upQuiet quotes, review drafts and the growth modules. Website and growth

How to read these docs

Aestar's public site has one rule: a claim has to match what ships. These pages inherit it. Anything that is not working end to end carries a status instead of a description in the present tense, and those statuses are generated from the same table the marketing site reads — nobody types them here.

LabelWhat it means
LiveWorking now. You can use it today.
Drafts todayAva prepares it for you to read and approve. Nothing goes to a customer yet.
Coming nextBeing built. Not usable yet, and no date.
After carrier approvalBuilt, but blocked until your shop clears the phone carriers' registration.
LaterOn the list. Not started, and not promised.
Not yetNot built. Listed so you know it is missing.

What is live right now

Part of AestarStatusDetail
AI receptionist (Ava)LiveAnswers, books, gives “starts at” prices from your price book and takes messages. English.
Call recordings and summariesLiveEvery call, with a one-line summary and the full transcript.
Your goalsLiveTell Ava a goal in your own words, like “$45,000 a month”, “weekends off” or “100 Google reviews”. She says it back with her plan, and where you stand sits at the top of Today on your phone and computer, counted from your own invoices, schedule and reviews. Her suggestions say which goal they help.
SchedulingLiveDay, week and map views. Ava books around your Google Calendar.
Estimates, invoices and price bookLiveCustomers see and approve estimates on a private page, and pay invoices by card or cash and check.
When a customer opened an estimate or invoiceLiveEach estimate and invoice says when the customer opened their page, like Opened 8:02 AM. Your own look and link previews don't count.
Shop websiteLiveYour services, prices, hours and a request form.
Review requestsLiveEvery customer who pays you is asked for a Google review on their receipt page, and by text once carriers approve your shop. Every customer, never only the happy ones.
Posting to Google and social for youComing nextAva already writes a post from each finished job for Google, Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor, with no customer names. Connecting your Facebook, Instagram and Google opens once they approve Aestar. Then Ava posts once a day, answers 4 and 5 star reviews and easy messages, and leaves anything about money or a complaint for you.
Customer emailsComing nextBooking confirmations, reminders, estimates and invoices by email.
Card paymentsLivePay links on invoices through Stripe. Customers pay by card and the money goes to your bank. Stripe's standard fee, no Aestar markup.
Customer text messagesAfter carrier approvalConfirmations, reminders and on-my-way texts, once your shop is registered with the carriers.
Live call transferComing nextAva passes the caller to your cell when you want her to.
Spanish-speaking AvaComing nextAva answers in Spanish when the caller does.
Your team's own appLiveSend each Service Pro their own link: their jobs, the addresses, the notes, Ava and their hours. No money, no approvals, and nothing about anyone else.
Service Pros, liveLiveA live map of where each Service Pro is, from their own phone, only while they're on the clock and their Aestar app is open. Only the owner sees it. Clocking out stops it, and positions are deleted then or after 24 hours.
Prices from your supplier invoicesLiveUpload a supplier invoice or a photo of it. Ava reads each line, matches it to your price book and offers the new cost where it moved, for you to approve, with Undo.
Service Pro invites by QR codeLiveShow a Service Pro's app link as a QR code and they scan it with their phone's camera. It's the same link as Copy app link.

Still stuck?

Ask Ava. She answers questions about Aestar itself — pricing, setup, what she does on a call — and she will tell you when something is not built yet.

Generated from the Aestar codebase at commit f0bd10e, last shipped October 20, 2026. Prices, statuses and screen names on this page are read from the running code, not typed by hand — so this page changes when the product does.
